Hi,

I've some problems getting my

D-Link DWL-G650 AirPlusXtremeG Wireless Cardbus Adapter
(H/W version B2)

up and running with madwifi-20030802 and a RedHat 7.3 system with
kernel 2.4.22. The error output is:

SIOCSIFFLAGS: Network is down
Failed to bring up ath0.

In the attachment a detailed bug report.

Any help more than welcome.

Cheers, Fons.

Fons,
You should try the cvs version. I still a noob with this stuff, but that
is what people told me to do.

Hope it helps!!

SIOCSIFFLAGS: Network is down
Failed to bring up ath0.
I think you may need to do a "ifconfig ath0 up" first, before you can
set any parameters.

I get this error when doing "ifconfig ath0 up". Anybody has an idea what
could cause this SIO problem?

Cheers, Fons.
